Student Ministries
The Student Ministries at Christ Community Church exists to reach and equip Jr. and Sr. High students to be passionate pursuers of God. We meet 3 times a week for worship, teaching and fellowship.
Sunday School meets from 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Jr. High meets in the Youth Building and Sr. High meets in the classroom next to the library. The purpose of these gatherings is for the students to learn how to apply biblical principles to all of life. The Student Ministries building is to the east of the main structure and is connected by a “drive through.”
The Sunday Evening Meeting is Jr. and Sr. High together from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Worship and Bible Study along with other activities make up Sunday evenings.
Youth (6th -12th grade) meets on Wednesday nights in the Student Ministries Building. The Jr. High meets from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Sr. High meets in the from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The purpose of these groups is to provide a place where students can encourage one another in their faith and have an opportunity to develop friendships with other members of Christ Community Church’s Student Ministries.
In addition, we value and emphasize the role of adult shepherding in a one on one basis. Time with individuals by our Student Ministries Pastor or another adult shepherd for the purpose of discipleship is available for those who desire this additional commitment.
Other youth functions (mission and fun trips, camps, parties and outreaches) will be publicized at specific times during the year. Contact Artie Farve (580.226.0677 ) with any questions.
