Christ Community Church began March 8, 1970 as College Heights Christian Church. The original group began with a vision for reaching Ardmore in new and creative ways in a new facility. The name, by-laws and doctrinal statement was changed in 1980 to reflect the changes that the church body had undergone over the years.

Christ Community Church is a non-denominational, non-affiliated, evangelical Bible church that is composed of Christians from many different walks of life and religious backgrounds. Our focus is Christ and learning to live a life abiding in His presence and power (John 15). We best accomplish this by personally and corporately balancing Worship, Relationships, Discipleship, and Outreach in a contemporary, Spirit-sensitive, spiritually-open, Biblically-grounded format. Rearranged, these core values form the easily remembered acrostic “WORD”.
